Top quality instructional videos and well written textbooks are hard to find in online motorcycle technician training. The problem facing a motorcycle mechanic training school that uses instructional videos, is how to teach students the knowledge they would learn in a hands-on workshop or at a motorcycle repair shop.

Can you really teach with instructional videos? The answer is yes. The solution is step-by-step video shooting that is clear and easy to understand. Unfortunately, filming instructional videos that go part-by-part, and procedure-by-procedure in a linear and easy to understand format is extremely time consuming. And it’s tedious to film like this! It took us 3 ½ years.

Instructional videos we have watched that were filmed by one online motorcycle technician training school are difficult to watch. Their videos explore too many directions at once, and the student does not get a complete understanding of procedures from beginning to end. Half the time the camera is not focused close enough to the procedure they are performing. We don’t shoot videos like that!
