Our Teaching Methods

After 14 years of teaching hands-on seminars, we always smile at the end of our motorcycle repair school workshops when excited students say to us, “Wow. You took all of the mystery out of motorcycle mechanics!”

We are able to do this for one reason: We don’t just “tell you” what to do, we show you how to do it! When you watch mechanical procedures being performed right in front of you, it takes all of the mystery out of the mechanics. If you see it performed, you can then do it yourself.

At our hands-on workshops, and on our instructional videos, all mechanical procedures are covered step-by-step, and part-by-part. No steps or parts are skipped. Important theory and technical concepts are taught in great detail.

Attending our motorcycle repair school workshops, or watching our instructional videos, is like getting an apprenticeship in a motorcycle repair shop. But it is much more.

For example, when working in a shop, you only learn things a little bit at a time. It is unlikely would you soon get to see, or perform, a complete engine teardown, engine overhaul, and engine rebuild. It would take you years in a shop to learn the procedures we teach on our online motorcycle repair school, or endless trial and error in your home garage.
